Mixed Emotions today… As a major supporter of law enforcement I hate to see a community get to the point where a termination of a Chief of Police is necessary. That said, integrity, honor and duty should be top qualities of the top law enforcement officer of any agency. I feel confident that this temporary arrangement with Captain Crawford partnering with Chester County Sheriff’s Office is a great step forward in which those qualities with be openly displayed!! Thank you to Chester City Mayor Williams, Sheriff Max Dorsey, County and City administrators and all of the folks involved in swiftly reaching this agreement for the safety and security of Chester City residents! Collaboration and cooperation in government is always the best option!!
